Reflections of Day 2

Today we went over the assignment from last night. Some of the interns weren't able to access the program at home because of some technical difficulties that we discussed and solved this morning. The morning pep talk was very needed, it made the day go even better when we had the conclusion of training today. the introduction to http://usa.dotrust.org site was very beneficial now we have access to reach out to other interns around the world to help each other out. We had a presentation on how to create and edit a movie and how to use transitions and how to add music to presentations. Then we split into group and had to create some of our own. We were given the subjects of: Project Management, Time Management, Effective Communication, and Professional Dress. We also did presentations on ways to get engaged with the teachers and break the ice. Did you know how rapidly the field of technology is growing. I am very proud of myself of taking the time out to apply for the internship. I feel that this program is going to be a success.

Reflections of Day

Today was a very intriguing interactive day. We were instructed on some highlights of Gmail, we learned about the iceberg effect. We as interns have to learn to break the ice and get to know the teachers on a more interpersonal level and get under that water line. The installation of the "Audacity" and "Lame" programs. We created accounts on http://podbean.com and created this blog. The two trainers that we have are very hands on during instructional time. i feel that everyone we need to step it up and be more enthusiastic about this internship. Class was awesome today..........
